Alfredo Saenz

Born in 1975, in Mexico City, he was introduced to photography at the age of eight by his father. He was fascinated by this experience and began taking pictures at the age of sixteen when he was given his first camera. After this rewarding experience and while studying in workshops of photojournalism and courses of different styles of photography, he was involved in different projects as a graphic journalist. Alfredo participated in agriculture and farming journals, in professional hairstylist magazines and various newspapers. In the late 1990's, he participated in his first of many photographic exhibitions.

He moved to Europe in 1998, setting up home in Valencia, Spain, were he developed his career for ten years and had the opportunity to expand his knowledge and abilities studying in the Art and Design School of Valencia. Alfredo earned his Bachelor´s degree in Photography in 2005. During this period he worked in some of the most prestigious studios where catalogs of furniture, product, and fashion are produced.

In 2008 he moved from Spain to the Bay Area in Northern California where he began his free-lance career and started to participate in artistic projects. Undoubtedly, his vast photographic experiences acquired in the countries of Mexico, Spain and now the United States of America are present throughout his photography. His work is full of innovative and captivating initiatives.
