Christo Oropeza

Christo Oropeza is a Xicano artist born and raised in San Francisco. He is an Alumnus from SF State, having graduated with a BA in Art with an emphasis in Painting & Drawing, and works at the San Francisco Museum Of Modern Art. Christo, with the help of his colleagues, formed the San Pancho Art Collective around March of 2009. He is currently a photo-contributor to the SFMOMA Open Space blog. His most recent work includes co-designing and painting a commissioned mural for Mission Pie on the Corner of 25th st. & Lilac in the Mission District, and continues to paint and exhibit work in San Francisco.
